The building's openings are Roman arched on the ground level and both segmental and rectangular on the first level. The surrounds are stucco finished with some stringing and keystone. The roof has a louvre gablet for ventilation of the roof space.
The return verandah is supported by timber stanchions and has a heavily moulded string course with dentils. The baluster is cast-iron lacework.
